Kenneth Joaquin (b. 1948

Kenneth Joaquin was born in 1948 in Tulare County, California. 

 Ken’s love and natural aptitude for the Arts, led him to ‘College of the Sequoias’ in 1967 where he studied oil painting and printmaking. Then ‘Columbia College in the 80’s, where he studied both painting,  sculpture, and ceramics.

 Working out of his studio in San Diego, California, he continues to create exceptional abstract paintings that reflect his talent for composition and use of color. Joaquin’s painting style has been compared to visionaries of abstract expressionism and modernism. He has developed a style of painting uniquely his own. 

Ken’s abstract paintings have often been characterized as elegant and thought-provoking.  His works are in several private collections throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia
